Venue & access: HDC Kobe, B1F Station Plaza and HDC Kobe Station Front Plaza Right outside the south exit of Kobe Station (JR Kobe Line), within Kobe Harborland.

Why You Should Visit

A two-day event at HDC Kobe, right by JR Kobe Station, about art and light for the home. Around 200 works by some 40 artists and about 200 art posters, mostly Nordic, are on show, and anything you like can be ordered and delivered later. Lamps from the interior shops in the building are gathered alongside, so you can see how art and lighting work together in a room. There is also an art auction with bids from ¥4,000, a lamp quiz rally around the shops, and bookable workshops and caricature sessions. Admission is free.

About 20 works, bids from ¥4,000 at any time during the event. Winners are contacted afterwards

Lamp quiz rally

Follow the official Instagram (@hdc_kobe_event) to get a sheet at the B1F desk, then answer quizzes about lamps in three interior shops. Get everything right for a masterpiece-print sachet (first 300 each day)
