Why You Should Visit
The Hanshin Donburi Festival gathers rice bowls from across Japan in the Shokusai Terrace on the ground floor of Hanshin Umeda. The 2026 edition is the fourth, returning after about two years. Meat bowls include Wagyu roast beef and Yonezawa beef steak with sukiyaki; seafood bowls include Toyama white-shrimp tempura and a three-way tuna bowl. You can also buy just the toppings (atama) to take home. On Saturday 17 October, Don Ito of the All Japan Donburi Union gives a talk.
