Why You Should Visit

A 360-degree projection mapping show that turns the walls, ceiling and pillars of the central hall at the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts into a single screen, set to Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Created by the Swiss studio PROJEKTIL and staged in more than 90 cities, this is its first run in Japan: six acts in about 30 minutes, moving through the seasons to the fifth act "Ignorance" and the closing "Enlightenment". Seating mixes chairs and beanbags, so you can lie back and watch the light overhead, and photos and video are allowed.

FAQ

How long does it last?
Each show runs about 30 minutes, with doors opening 15 minutes before the start time.
Can I bring children?
Yes. There is a child ticket for junior high age and under, and preschoolers enter free when accompanied by a guardian. The room goes dark with strong light and loud sound, so you may be asked to step out if a child finds it too much.
Is photography allowed?
Yes — photos and video may be taken during the show.
Can I buy a ticket at the venue?
No. Only timed e-tickets are sold, and the museum's ticket counter does not handle them. Buy online before you go.
