Five 30-minute shows a night: 17:45, 18:30, 19:15, 20:00 and 20:45 (doors open 15 min before each). No shows on Oct 13, 19, 26 and Nov 2, 9, 16, 24

cost

Weekdays: adults 2,900 yen / children (junior high and under) 1,700 yen. Weekends & holidays: adults 3,200 yen / children 1,900 yen. Special tickets with a programme are 3,400 yen on weekdays and 3,700 yen on weekends (adult price only). Preschoolers enter free when accompanied by a guardian. There is no disability discount.

About 5 min on foot through Tennoji Park from Tennoji Station (JR / Osaka Metro) or Osaka-Abenobashi Station (Kintetsu). By car, about 5 min from the Tennoji exit of the Hanshin Expressway; use the Tennoji Park underground parking.

There are 6 car parks within a 12-minute walk of Central Hall, 1F, Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts (in Tennoji Park), and 8 public restrooms within 8 minutes. The map shows each with its walking time.

TICKETS / REGISTRATION

Timed e-tickets only, sold through the official site and ticket agencies. The museum counter does not sell tickets, so buy before you go. No re-entry, and no refunds or ticket changes after purchase.

• Six acts, about 30 minutes
• Acts 1-4 move through spring, summer, autumn and winter
• Act 5 "Ignorance", closing act "Enlightenment"

Inside the hall

• Chairs and beanbags are both set out; take whichever you like
• Photos and video are allowed during the show
• The room goes dark, with strong light and loud sound

About the venue

• The museum opened in 1936; the central hall is a Registered Tangible Cultural Property
