Daimaru Kobe's "Festa ITALIA" fills the 9th floor with Italian food and design. Sit down for pasta from Ristorante Al Porto or an aperitivo set from first-time vendor Osteria Calimero, and pick up freshly made Sicilian cannoli, gelato and lasagna at the live-cooking stalls. Wine, chocolate sold by weight, jewelry and linen tableware round it out. Many items are limited per day, so earlier visits are safer — an easy indoor outing in central Kobe.

Is there an admission fee?

No, entry is free. You pay for food and goods at each stall.

Can I eat at the venue?

Yes, Osteria Calimero and Ristorante Al Porto have eat-in seating. Al Porto takes last orders at 18:00 (16:30 on the final day).

When should I go for the limited items?

Many items are capped per day — cannoli at 100, lasagna at 30 — and end when sold out. If you have a target, go close to the 10:00 opening.
