Price & booking: 60-min all-you-can-drink: 2,300 yen advance / 3,000 yen on the day; single pour 660 yen (free entry) Book the 60-minute all-you-can-drink pass in advance via the official reservation form by 17:00 on Friday, October 9. Same-day sign-up is also available (3,000 yen).
Venue & access: waSTEP AWAJISHIMA, Oiso, Awaji City By car, about 7 minutes south on Route 28 from the Awaji IC on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway (37 free parking spaces). By bus, about a 1-minute walk from the Oiso URA-mae stop (Awaji Kotsu).

Why You Should Visit

AWAJI BEER, the island's craft brewery, holds its annual beer festival at waSTEP AWAJISHIMA, a roadside complex near the Awaji IC. This eighth edition pours all eight of its beers on tap, including a limited-batch Golden Ale that is served on draught only at this event. Those who buy the 60-minute all-you-can-drink pass (2,300 yen in advance, 3,000 yen on the day) receive fresh hops grown on Awaji Island to drop into their glass and compare the aroma. Single pours are 660 yen. It suits a coastal drive stopover—drinkers will need a non-drinking driver or public transport.
