Why You Should Visit
A campaign for people staying in or visiting Himeji: a ¥1,000 digital ticket gets you an "Oishii Himeji Set" worth ¥2,000. Restaurants across the city serve sets built around local produce — fish and conger eel from the Harima Sea, Himeji oden, sake from the city's eight breweries and local craft beer. You buy the ticket by scanning the QR code at a participating hotel (guests only) or tourist facility such as the Himeji Castle shop or the tourist information center.
