Why You Should Visit
An open-air beer garden held only on summer evenings at the riverside Arima Shinsui Hiroba in Arima Onsen. In the cool breeze of this mountain hot-spring town, you can enjoy food from kitchen stalls and a well-chilled drink. Alongside its signature sukiyaki (reservation only), evenings bring a music stage, magic shows, and dances by Arima's geiko. Easy to drop by in yukata after a soak, it's a summer staple welcome to overnight guests and day-trippers alike.
