Why You Should Visit
A half-day fair on the 2nd floor of Papios Akashi, right by Akashi Station, where local environmental groups set up hands-on booths. Most are aimed at children: toys powered by renewable energy, sea-creature play, a fishing pond, acorn crafts and a waste-sorting challenge. Bring a used toothbrush to swap it for a new one, and pick up free recycled books. Free entry with no sign-up, and since it is indoors the weather doesn't matter.
