Why You Should Visit

A two-day eat-and-play neighborhood festival on the former Ebisu Elementary School grounds near Shin-Imamiya Station. Now in its fifth year with a bigger site, it brings pony rides plus a horse-and-chicken petting corner, photo ops with a fire engine, police motorbike and JSDF vehicles, an old-school game arcade (shooting gallery, smart ball), and a mini aquarium with medaka and goldfish scooping. On the 11th, players from Osaka's rugby team Red Hurricanes Osaka join for a talk and tackle sessions. Food comes from kitchen cars and booths (negiyaki, pizza and more) plus a vegetable market from around Kansai. Free entry, with a stage by Tsutenkaku's official idol group and a bouncy dome — an easy half day for families.

What if it rains?

It goes ahead in light rain. Vehicle displays run only in fair weather; severe-weather decisions are posted on the official site.

Can anyone ride the horses?

It's a paid activity — one lap of the course. Check the booth on the day for age/weight conditions and the price.

Can I bring my own food?

No outside food or drink. There are tables, so buy from the booths and kitchen cars and eat on site.
