Why You Should Visit
A summer festival for kids at Sannomiya Platz, built around five pirate missions: knock down pirates with a water gun, dive for treasure on the seabed, blast enemies with a cannon, raise the anchor, and a treasure scramble. Clear all five and you take home the "secret treasure" — toys and sweets. Admission is free and each game costs ¥100. Shaved ice, frankfurters and ramune are on sale, along with glow-in-the-dark fans and drinks. It runs 12:00 to 17:00 over two days right in the middle of Sannomiya.
