Why You Should Visit
Kobe Gakuin University's student-run festival returns for its 59th edition in 2026 under the theme "San" (radiance). It runs for four days and moves between campuses: Port Island Campus 1 on Oct 31 and Nov 1, then Arise Campus in Nishi Ward on Nov 2 and 3. The main stage features student bands, dance and a calligraphy performance, plus a live set by voice actress Shio Kisui, bingo and a cosplay contest, while student food stalls and kitchen cars line the campus every day. A talk show by Kan Hideyoshi and a live show by singer-songwriter Yuika are ticketed. A good pick if you want to soak up Japanese campus-festival atmosphere and graze on street food, or are looking for kids' games.
