Why You Should Visit

An outdoor market bringing together handmade crafts, farm-direct produce and food trucks. It tours venues across Hyogo — Maiko Park, Kobe Port Island Civic Square and others — more than ten times a year, concentrated in spring and autumn. Alongside one-of-a-kind wood, fabric and leather goods, floral art, houseplants and pet accessories, you'll find farm stalls, organic food and kitchen cars, plus a free live stage with music, dance and street performance. The three-day Maiko Park edition draws around 25,000 visitors, and you can spread a picnic sheet on the lawn with the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in view. Each venue has its own scale and mood, so pick the edition easiest for you to reach.

FAQ

Is there an admission fee?

Every venue is free to enter, and watching the stage is free too — you only pay for food and goods. At the Noevir Stadium edition on August 22 the lawn plaza is free, but watching the INAC Kobe match requires a separate ticket.

Where is the next edition held?

The venue changes each time. For the rest of the 2026–27 season the order is: Aug 22 Noevir Stadium Kobe → Sep 19–21 Maiko Park → Oct 17–18 Mikiyama Sogo Park → Oct 31–Nov 1 Nesta Resort Kobe → Nov 7–8 Port Island Civic Square → Nov 14–15 Flower Center.

Is it held if it rains?

It goes ahead in light rain and is cancelled in stormy weather. If a weather warning is in effect at 22:00 the night before, the event is cancelled and this is posted around 23:00 on the official Instagram (@kirara_marche).

How can I apply to run a stall?

Apply through the venue-specific stall application forms on the official site. Slots and fees differ for retail booths, food tents and kitchen cars, and venues that fill up switch to a waiting list. Stage performers apply through a separate form.
