Why You Should Visit

Tatsuno's city-wide autumn festival takes over the area around City Hall and Nakagawara Park on Culture Day (Nov 3). Two stages run taiko, wind band, yosakoi and dance performances, while 28 groups parade down the City Hall street. Local-product booths line "Tatsuno Totteoki Street," alongside food stalls, food trucks and a flea market. New this year is the "Tatsuno Job Expo," with hands-on workshops on local trades, plus a mini live set by Tatsuno-born singer Shuko Tada. A good day out for families.
