cost: Free admission. Parking ¥550 per standard car
Venue & access: Hyogo Prefectural Ako Seaside Park By car, about 10 min southeast of Ako IC on the Sanyo Expressway (parking for about 1,000 cars). By bus, from JR Banshu-Ako Station toward Misaki, get off at Kaihin Koen-mae (weekends and holidays)

There are 3 car parks within a 12-minute walk of Hyogo Prefectural Ako Seaside Park. The map shows each with its walking time.

Why You Should Visit

A two-day event for dogs and their owners on an 8,000 m² lawn at Ako Seaside Park. The sixth edition has its biggest line-up yet, with over 100 booths selling treats, dog clothing, goods and care products, plus food trucks. A photographer's booth runs both days; October 31 adds a Halloween stage and a prize draw, and November 1 has one-coin grooming by students of a dog grooming school and group photos by breed. Admission is free, and you can come without a dog.

Yes. It is a free outdoor event, so you can browse the shops and food stalls without a dog.

What happens if it rains?

The event is cancelled in case of rain. Check the Ako Seaside Park website or the organiser TOMBOAT's announcements.
