At the door: Adults ¥1,600, junior/senior high ¥1,000. Advance: Adults ¥1,400, students ¥800. Elementary schoolers and younger free (adult accompaniment required). Advance tickets are sold via Lawson Ticket, Seven Ticket, Ticket Pia, and others. Same-day tickets are available at the venue.

Why You Should Visit

The 5th edition of this indoor festival that draws castle fans from across Japan to Umeda. Castles from all over the country set up PR booths, alongside castle goods, a quiz rally, and talks and seminars. The highlight is a display of armor of ten Sengoku warlords including Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Date Masamune — photos are welcome, and you can even try on helmets and battle coats. Being indoors at Grand Front Osaka, it's comfortable regardless of midsummer heat or rain.

Armor display
  • 10 sets of armor: Ishida Mitsunari, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Honda Tadakatsu, Takeda Shingen, Uesugi Kenshin, Sanada Yukimura, Ii Naomasa, Date Masamune, Tokugawa Ieyasu, and Oda Nobunaga
  • Photos welcome. Helmet/battle-coat try-on available (some display-only; try-on ¥1,000)

It's held indoors on B2F of Grand Front Osaka North Building, so weather and summer heat are no concern.
Is it good for kids?
Elementary schoolers and younger enter free with an adult. Armor try-ons and the quiz rally make it fun for kids — great for summer projects too.
Can I buy tickets on the day?
Yes — same-day tickets (adults ¥1,600, students ¥1,000) are available. Advance tickets save you ¥200.
