Why You Should Visit
The 5th edition of this indoor festival that draws castle fans from across Japan to Umeda. Castles from all over the country set up PR booths, alongside castle goods, a quiz rally, and talks and seminars. The highlight is a display of armor of ten Sengoku warlords including Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Date Masamune — photos are welcome, and you can even try on helmets and battle coats. Being indoors at Grand Front Osaka, it's comfortable regardless of midsummer heat or rain.
