Why You Should Visit
The first exhibition of Odekake Kozame, Penguinbox's series about a little shark who goes out and about town, held to mark its fifth anniversary. After a summer run at Matsuya Ginza in Tokyo, it comes to the 8th-floor event hall of Hanshin Umeda over the New Year holidays. The main area retraces the towns Kozame-chan has visited through newly drawn illustrations, with a life-size Kozame-chan figure, a corner for photographing your own plush toys, and the creator's design sheets and behind-the-scenes material. A good winter-break outing for families and for fans after exhibition-only goods.
