Why You Should Visit

A four-day summer program at Motomachi Eigakan, a small independent theater near Kobe's Motomachi arcade. Aug 8: "Gauche the Cellist" plus a mini concert; Aug 9: "Night on the Galactic Railroad" plus a projection-room tour and 35mm film workshop; Aug 10: the 2006 Doraemon dinosaur movie plus a dinosaur craft workshop; Aug 11: three silent films with live narration (katsuben) and live music. Kids (high school age and under) pay 500 yen, with a 1,800 yen set price for one adult plus one child.
