Why You Should Visit
A two-day event where kids get hands-on with boats and the sea rather than just looking. It takes over Marine Pia Kobe, the outlet mall on the Tarumi waterfront: a 30-minute cruiser ride out towards the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, a chance to steer a mini boat yourself, releasing young fish into the sea, plus boat simulators and radio-controlled boats spread around the site. Most activities are free and first-come, first-served on the day. A good day out for families with children who love boats and sea creatures.
