Why You Should Visit

An autumn festival run by the Yamatokoriyama City Tourism Association around the east rotary of JR Koriyama Station, in a town famous for its goldfish. Food trucks, food stalls and a flea market line the square, and kids can try goldfish scooping and the Hidenaga-kun stamp rally. Ensemble Mare gives a mandolin concert from 10:30, and in the morning there is a talk and hands-on session (booking required) on Toyotomi Hidenaga and Akahada ware, where you shape a pot by hand.
