Why You Should Visit

A one-day event at the Heijo Palace Site Historical Park on December 6 where you can see, touch and try out disaster and crime prevention. Fire engines come to the park, with corners for firefighting and earthquake simulation, a vehicle display, and a Kids' Safety Licence for children. You can also pose for photos in firefighter, JAF and ALSOK uniforms, look at an electric vehicle and a security robot, and eat at the food and market area with stalls. It runs alongside the Nara Prefectural Police Festa. A good outing for families whose kids love emergency vehicles and uniforms.
