Free admission (food truck purchases are paid) No registration is needed for the exhibits and hands-on booths on Tenpyo Plaza or for the morning talk session.
Natsu Ando's talk show (13:30–15:00, doors 13:00) requires advance application and is allocated by lottery, up to 2 people per application. Applications close on Sunday, October 25, and results are sent to the email address you register. Apply via the Carelympic Nara talk show application form.

Why You Should Visit

A one-day event run by Nara Prefecture to make caregiving and welfare feel closer to everyday life. On Tenpyo Plaza at the Nara Prefectural Convention Center you can try out assistive equipment and visit hands-on care and welfare booths, with food trucks on site. Tenpyo Hall hosts a morning talk between Governor Yamashita and the head of a care facility, and an afternoon talk show by comedian Natsu Ando of Maple Chogokin, who is a certified care worker. Sentokun, Nara's mascot, is also expected to appear. Admission is free and open to all ages, a good fit for anyone starting to think about family care or curious about working in welfare.
