Why You Should Visit

Nara Kotsu's last remaining bonnet-nosed bus turned 60 on October 13, 2026, and this one-day event celebrates the milestone at Nara Park Bus Terminal. The highlight is a roughly 60-minute tour around autumn Nara Park aboard the vintage bus itself (20 seats per run, four runs). Between tours the bus is on display at the terminal. There are also handmade craft and workshop stalls, an N-gauge model railway diorama, LaQ building blocks for kids and a Nara Kotsu quiz contest, so it works for both longtime bus fans and families with children.
