Venue & access: Kohnan Kenko Hiroba, Konan Medical Center (Higashinada-ku, Kobe) Konan Medical Center's shuttle bus runs from Hankyu Mikage, JR Sumiyoshi and Hanshin Mikage stations (also on weekends and holidays). By car, the hospital car park charges 300 yen per 30 minutes for general visitors.

Why You Should Visit

For one day, Konan Medical Center in Higashinada opens its on-site "Kohnan Kenko Hiroba" plaza to the neighborhood as a marché. Expect organic vegetables, honey, bread from a popular bakery with queues, baked sweets, new-crop rice and handmade goods. Being a hospital, it also runs an AED course, cognicise (exercise for brain health) and a health talk, so you can pick up practical health tips while you shop.
