Around 50 makers and shops bring ceramics, paper and fabric goods, plush toys, accessories and more — work that usually only circulates online or at craft fairs, here to see and buy in person. Many items are exclusive to the venue. The selection prizes craftsmanship over mere cuteness, so it suits anyone who loves well-made goods, not just penguin fans — and it's a good rainy-day stop in Sannomiya.

Is there an entry fee or ticket?

It's held in a department-store event hall and entry is free. No numbered tickets or entry limits have been announced so far; check the official Instagram for updates.

What time does it close on the last day?

The final day, Oct 12 (Mon, holiday), closes at 17:00. All other days run until 20:00.

Do exclusives sell out on day one?

Quantities of venue-exclusive items aren't published, and popular makers' pieces can sell out early. If you have a target, go early in the run.
