Why You Should Visit

A touring pop-up shop devoted to penguin goods makes its Kobe debut at Kobe Hankyu's event hall. Around 50 makers and shops bring ceramics, paper and fabric goods, plush toys, accessories and more — work that usually only circulates online or at craft fairs, here to see and buy in person. Many items are exclusive to the venue. The selection prizes craftsmanship over mere cuteness, so it suits anyone who loves well-made goods, not just penguin fans — and it's a good rainy-day stop in Sannomiya.
