Why You Should Visit

The 13th edition of a small market themed on body and mind, held at Shitamachi no Eki Rokken, a community hub on the Rokkenmichi shopping street in Shin-Nagata. It has three strands: hands-on body-care booths (osteopathy, acupuncture, aromatherapy, head massage), food and drink that is gentle on the body, and handmade goods and workshops by local makers. Admission is free, and as the venue sits in the arcade you can drop in while shopping or wandering the area. It is a neighbourhood market on a manageable scale, easy to visit with family or alone.
