47th Hyogo Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries Festival 2026

Why You Should Visit

Held every October by Hyogo Prefecture, this festival gathers the whole prefecture's farm, forest and sea produce in one place. About 90 exhibitors, from farmers and food companies to agricultural high schools and universities, line the Senjoshiba lawn in Akashi Park, selling new-crop Ko-no-ho-shi rice, black edamame, Kasumi crab, Akashi sea bream and conger eel, and Awaji Island wine. The Hyogo Certified Food Festival 2026 and the 4th Hyogo Rich Sea Promotion Rally run alongside. Hands-on booths for seed planting, woodcraft and a fish touch pool make it a good family day out for autumn shopping. Entry is free.

Oct 17 (Sat) 14:00– Stamp-rally lottery (cards handed out from 13:00 at the HQ tent, limited)
Oct 18 (Sun) 11:00–11:30 / 14:00–14:30 Rock-paper-scissors with mascot Habatan (high schoolers and under, while prizes last)
Oct 18 (Sun) 12:00– Fill-a-bag odd-shaped vegetables (300 yen, while stocks last)

Is there an entry fee?

Entry is free. Payment is cash only; cashless isn't accepted.

Does it go ahead in the rain?

It's held rain or shine, but cancelled in heavy rain or strong wind. Check the hotline (050-1785-7532) on Oct 16–18.

Can I drive there?

There's no free parking, and visitors are asked to use trains or buses. It's about a 15-minute walk from Akashi Station.

Are there activities for kids?

There are hands-on booths for seed planting, woodcraft and a fish touch pool, plus rock-paper-scissors with Habatan on the 18th (high schoolers and under).
