Why You Should Visit

A night market held in Otemae Park, right below Himeji Castle. From 4pm to 10pm, festival-style game stalls, handmade crafts by local makers, hands-on workshops and kitchen-car food line the park, along with a kids' park with inflatable play equipment and a petting zoo. Performer Leo appears on the 22nd and Smile Circus on the 23rd. Once the sun sets, string lights turn the lawn into a picnic-like setting. Admission is free, making it an easy stop after a day of sightseeing in Himeji or for a family evening out.
