Why You Should Visit

A one-day fair at the central underground passage north of Himeji Station, bringing yuzu citrus from Yasutomi, a farming area in northern Himeji. Growers sell Yasutomi yuzu and yuzu products directly, and free yuzu for a winter-solstice yuzu bath is handed out twice, from 11:00 and 13:00 (first 100 people each time). The Toji Gourmet Marche runs at the same venue on the same day, with produce from the Naka-Harima area. A handy stop if you are passing through Himeji Station in late December and want locally grown yuzu.
