Why You Should Visit

A music and food festival in Otemae Park, just south of Himeji Castle, now in its third year. Seven local bands play the stage while kitchen cars and a market line the park. Food trucks serve fried chicken, butter crepes, Cuban sandwiches, strawberry smoothies, beer and more; the market has handmade goods, illustrations, on-the-spot caricatures and a kids' photo booth. A kids' area offers the GOGO Circuit electric ride-on course and bouncy inflatables. A relaxed day out for families who want local live music with something to eat.
