Why You Should Visit

GOOD NATURE STATION, a mixed-use complex near Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station, runs its holiday program "Holiday with you" from late November into the New Year. On November 21, the tree and lanterns in the 4th-floor courtyard are switched on after a flute and violin performance and a countdown. The ground floor hosts an ORGANIC MARCHE with organic vegetables and foods on December 8, and a HOLIDAY MARCHE with stollen, bone-in chicken and hot coffee on December 12. Small workshops such as wood-burned charms and mini botanical wreaths round it out, making it an easy stop while shopping around Shijo-Kawaramachi.
