Why You Should Visit

Forty stationery makers gather in the 7th-floor event hall of Kyoto Takashimaya for a week, eight of them appearing for the first time. Expect paper goods such as notebooks, sticky notes and letter sets, plus stamps, washi tape and stickers. "Viking" pick-and-mix deals add a bonus: buy 12 Zebra Mckee Extra Fine markers and get a limited Mckee tin, or any 10 Mildliners for a big Mildliner bottle. A good stop for anyone who likes comparing pens and paper, or stocking up for journaling and letter writing.

Entry is free. You pay for items at each brand's stand.

What are the "viking" deals?

Pick your own colours or types and buy a set number to get a bonus: a limited Mckee tin with 12 Mckee Extra Fine markers, or a big bottle (choice of 7 colours) with 10 Mildliners. Quantities are limited.

What time does it close on the last day?

It closes at 17:00 on the final day, Monday 9 November. Other days run until 20:00.
