Why You Should Visit

A community culture festival at LaLaport EXPOCITY in Suita, bringing together local companies, universities and government, now in its fifth year. On the 1F Hikari no Hiroba plaza, local sports teams such as Gamba Osaka and Osaka Evessa host a talk and quiz show, and Kansai University's cheer dance team performs together with Gamba Osaka Cheer Kids. Booths include an AR experience by Osaka University and a project turning used cooking oil into aviation fuel. Admission is free, making it an easy family stop during a day of shopping near Expo '70 Commemorative Park.
