Why You Should Visit

A one-day Halloween event at the Bellemarge Sakai shopping arcade right in front of JR Sakaishi Station. Billed as the Bellemarge Festival, it fills the 1F Plaza and 2F with the Other World Market of about 25 handmade makers, plus face painting and ghost-making workshops, and a stage outside Izumiya with magic, dance, a Halloween fashion show and a parade running from morning into the evening. Entry is free, and costumes are welcome, even just a small accessory. A good pick for families looking to spend half a day out, or anyone after handmade Halloween goods.
