Awaji Highway Oasis Autumn Festival 2026

Why You Should Visit

A one-day autumn festival on a national holiday at Awaji Highway Oasis, right by the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. The Event Plaza hosts two Doraemon stage shows, and nine Awaji Island food trucks gather on site. From 14:00, 300 free servings of tempura-fried Awaji pike conger (hamo) with onion and wakame miso soup are handed out. There is also Awaji ningyo joruri puppet theater, 'Ebisu-mai', by the Awaji Mihara High School local culture club, plus dance performances. Admission is free, making it an easy family stop on an Awaji Island drive.

Is there an admission fee?

Admission and viewing are free. Super ball scooping has a fee, and the bamboo craft workshops cost ¥300.

When is the free hamo tempura and miso soup served?

Two shows, at 11:40 and 14:30, at the Event Plaza in front of Oasis-kan.
