Why You Should Visit

A Christmas tree about 9 m tall stands in the 1F atrium of Oasis-kan at Awaji Highway Oasis, right by the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. This is its 23rd year. Dressed in about 10,000 lights, the tree stays lit during the day too and can be seen from outside the building. On Saturday, November 21 from 17:30, a lighting event features the Sumoto Boys and Girls Choir, Chorus Piacere and the Minamiawaji Boys and Girls Choir, with an appearance by Santa Claus. Watching is free, and it is an easy stop on an Awaji Island drive or a break at Awaji SA.
