Why You Should Visit

A two-day food event centered on Asago City, gathering produce, processed foods and dishes from the Tajima region and from Iki City in Nagasaki, Asago's friendship city. It takes place in the AEON Wadayama parking lot with about 55 booths planned. Iwatsu negi, Asago's local green onion, goes on sale for the season, and the onion-themed West Japan Negi Fes runs at the same time. There is also a stage program. Entry is free. Worth the trip if you want to sample Tajima's food in one place or pick up Iwatsu negi.
