Why You Should Visit
A day-long festival of idol performances and idol cover dance, staged at two spots in Meriken Park: the Circular Plaza and ONE HEART BIRTH, the lawn north of Kobe Port Tower. Now in its 8th edition, it brings together cover-dance units made up of university students and working adults, plus guest idols. Shows run from 9 am to 8 pm, and watching is free, with some paid seats available. It is an easy stop if you like J-pop idol culture or dance covers, or are simply strolling the waterfront and want to catch a performance with the harbor as a backdrop.
