Why You Should Visit

A one-day event for pet owners at Akashi T3 Terrace, the seaside open space next to Akashi City Hall. Timed for the run-up to Halloween, it features a costume runway where owners walk with their pets in fancy dress, plus a dog race. There are also fair-style game booths with a Halloween corner, food trucks and shops, and Halloween goods on sale. A good fit for owners who want to dress up with their dog, or families out with the family dog. Entry is free, and you can enjoy it without a pet too.

Entry is free. The costume runway (¥500), dog race (¥300) and festival game booths (¥300 per game) are paid.

Can we join the runway or dog race without booking?

Yes, both accept walk-ups if places remain. The costume runway takes 60 pairs in total and the dog race 90; the race closes once full.

Does it go ahead in the rain?

It is held in rain and cancelled only in severe weather.

Can I drive there?

Akashi T3 Terrace has no dedicated parking. The nearest is the paid Akashi City Hall car park.
