Venue & access: Yabu Citizens' Exchange Plaza (YB Fab) About 10 minutes on foot from JR Yoka Station. By car, about 10 minutes from Yoka-Hyonosen IC on the Kita-Kinki Toyooka Expressway (free temporary parking with shuttle buses).

Why You Should Visit

A food festival at Yabu Citizens' Exchange Plaza (YB Fab) in Yoka, Yabu City, built around dishes made with Yabu ingredients. Around 45 booths from local restaurants and producers offer things like Tajima beef yakiniku bowls, Yoka pork yakisoba, meat pies with Asakura sansho pepper, new-crop rice and local sake. The stage hosts the final of the Asakura Sansho Cooking Koshien, where high school teams compete, plus a grand prize draw. Admission is free. A good day out for anyone who wants to try a wide range of Yabu food in one place, or for families looking for an autumn outing in northern Hyogo.
