Why You Should Visit

A two-day green-themed event run by the Kyoto City Greenery Association across the whole of Umekoji Park, just west of Kyoto Station. Around the park you will find a flower and plant sale, nature observation sessions, and local greening volunteer groups showing what they do. For children there is a Play Park for outdoor play and a craft corner. Anyone can drop in, so it is easy to combine with a visit to the Kyoto Aquarium or the Kyoto Railway Museum next door. A good fit for gardeners looking for autumn plants and families who want a relaxed day on the lawn.
