Price & booking: Free admission (free parking) No reservation is needed to attend. Only the shuttle bus from Yamato-Yagi Station requires booking, via the form on the official site (first 40 people, deadline Sep 30 or when full). The round-trip fare is paid in cash when getting off at the venue.
Venue & access: Uenoji Riverside Plaza (Uenoji Heliport), Totsukawa Village A reservation-only round-trip shuttle bus runs from Kintetsu Yamato-Yagi Station (south exit) to the venue (first 40 people, ¥5,000 adults). Nara Kotsu's Yagi–Shingu express bus also serves the area. By car about 2 h 10 min from Osaka, 2 h 50 min from Kyoto and 2 h from Wakayama; free parking.

Why You Should Visit

A one-day outdoor festival built around music, food and hot springs, held on a riverside plaza in Totsukawa, the mountainous village at the southern tip of Nara. The stage, framed by mountains and the river, hosts eleven acts ranging from the local taiko club and Totsukawa High School music club to guest artists such as Natsuki Kawanishi, VOG, Souonji and violinist SHOGO. More than 30 food trucks and craft or activity booths line the grounds, with pizza, skewers and sweets alongside a free-flowing hot-spring footbath, a bouncy castle and a ride in a cherry picker. Admission and parking are free, so it works for families and music fans alike.

Do I need a ticket or reservation to enter?

No. Admission and parking are free and you can simply turn up. Only the shuttle bus from Yamato-Yagi Station (first 40 people) requires booking.

Is it suitable for families with children?

Yes. There is a bouncy castle, fair-style game booths (lottery, yo-yo fishing), kendama, a cherry-picker ride and police/JSDF vehicle displays, plus a kids' special program by VOG and SHOGO from 12:40.

What happens if it rains?

The venue is an open-air riverside plaza; check the official site and Instagram/X (@totsukawafes) for any weather-related changes.

Can I bathe in a hot spring at the venue?

At the venue you can try a free-flowing hot-spring footbath booth. For a full bath, stop by one of the village day-use onsen such as Izumiyu, Takinoyu, Iori-no-yu or Hoshinoyu after the festival.
