Why You Should Visit
A one-day festival of world music, food and culture held around CoFuFun Plaza, right outside Kintetsu/JR Tenri Station. India is the featured country for 2026: the main stage runs all day with Bharatanatyam classical Indian dance, Indonesian bamboo angklung, Brazilian maracatu drumming, Andean folklore, hula and more. Food stalls serve Brazilian, Peruvian, Turkish, Thai, Indonesian and other dishes to eat as you wander, and the group waiting hall south of the station hosts a large ema painting workshop, talks and puppet shows. Admission is free, making it an easy family outing straight off the train.
