Nara Kids Nature Festa 2026

Why You Should Visit

An annual family festival themed around children and nature, held at Umami Kyuryo Park in Nara. The 2026 edition is set for Sunday, November 22, and will include a promotional booth for the 77th National Tree-Planting Festival, offering an acorn-planting experience, novelty giveaways and panel displays. In past years the festa has also featured booths and workshops on nature-based childcare, food education and art, plus a stage program. This year's exact hours, fees and full lineup have not yet been announced.

From Goido Station (Kintetsu Osaka Line), take the Nara Kotsu bus bound for Umami Kyuryo Park to the last stop (about 20 min). By car, about 15 min south of Horyuji IC on the Nishi-Meihan Expressway; parking 8:00–18:00

Is admission free?

Entry to Umami Kyuryo Park is free (parking is ¥500 per car per visit). Details on any festa participation fees will be posted on the official SNS once announced.
