cost: Free admission (food and drinks charged separately). Beer uses a deposit system: a glass deposit is paid with your first beer and refunded when you return the glass.
Venue & access: Tenshiba, Tennoji Park Entrance Area, Tennoji-ku, Osaka A short walk from Tennoji Station (Osaka Metro Midosuji/Tanimachi lines, JR) or Kintetsu Osaka-Abenobashi Station. No event parking — use public transport.

Why You Should Visit

A German beer festival on the Tenshiba lawn at the entrance of Tennoji Park. More than 40 drinks are on tap, from draft beers imported straight from Germany — including official Munich Oktoberfest breweries — to beer cocktails and fruit beers, paired with sausages and other German fare enjoyed out on the grass. A "World Wine Fes" pouring European wines runs alongside, and on weekends and holidays the German band MARIA & Alpenbuam plays live stage shows.

Is there an admission fee?

Admission is free — you only pay for what you eat and drink. Beer glasses carry a refundable deposit paid with your first beer.

Can I reserve a table?

No — all seating is first-come, first-served, and holding seats with belongings for long periods is not allowed. Original picnic sheets are sold and mini tables rented (limited numbers, paid) for use on the lawn.

Does it run in the rain?

Yes, it runs rain or shine, and most seating is covered. In severe weather hours may change or the event may be cancelled — check the official SNS.

Is it fun for kids or non-beer drinkers?

Yes — some stalls sell soft drinks, alcohol-free options and sweets, and beyond beer there are wines from the concurrent wine fes, beer cocktails and fruit beers. Kids' putter golf runs on weekdays 15:00–17:00.
