Why You Should Visit

A fireworks show that caps off summer in Tatsuno, staged on Chidorigahama Park along the Ibo River. A tradition since the postwar years, 2026 marks its 74th edition. Highlights include fireworks mirrored on the river and "message fireworks," where a sender's words are read aloud before the shells go up.
