Why You Should Visit

The first event from Tamba City's farm brand Magokoro Vegetables, launched in 2024 by more than 1,000 local growers. About 30 booths fill the lawn of the Tamba Obaachan no Sato roadside station each day, with farmers selling Tamba Dainagon red beans, black edamame, taro, sweet potatoes and new-crop rice in person and sharing how they grow and cook them. Each day has its own theme: an evening night market on Friday Nov 6, and an organic fair closing with a traditional rice-cake scattering on Sunday Nov 8. A good outing for anyone after Tamba's autumn produce at the source, or a family day at a countryside roadside station.
