About 5 minutes on foot from the Umekita underground exit of JR Osaka Station, connected underground. About 8 minutes from the west exit of Hanshin Osaka-Umeda Station, or 10 minutes from the north gate of Umeda Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line.

Why You Should Visit

The Osaka leg of Taiwan’s Kansai tourism roadshow, run by the Taiwan Tourism Administration and the Taiwan Visitors Association. Hotels, travel agencies and airlines from across Taiwan staff promotion booths at Congres Square on the fourth floor of Grand Green Osaka South. The stage runs three sets by the traditional-instrument band mooz, tourism pitches from China Airlines and the Kaohsiung city agriculture bureau, a talk by Noko of the Instagram account Taiwan Real Life, and a tourism quiz. There is also an AI photo booth with indigenous costumes, hands-on workshops, and stalls selling Taiwanese food, crafts and tea. Admission is free and the venue connects to Osaka Station underground.

REGISTRATION
No booking is needed to enter. The workshops (lantern painting and woven bracelets) and the special talk show are reserved in advance: pick a date and time on the workshop booking page or the talk show booking page at Taipeinavi. Both are free, but the workshop slots for Kobe and Osaka are full and show as Soldout.

Second Kansai venue: August 29 (Sat) at Kobe Harborland Space Theater, with a talk by the cook Ryoko Kuwahara.

FAQ

Is there an admission fee?
Admission is free. Food and goods at the booths are charged separately; the workshops and talk show need a booking but cost nothing.
Do the workshops need a reservation?
Lantern painting and bracelet weaving require a booking. Pick a date and time on the Taipeinavi workshop page; it is free, and slots show as Soldout once full.
Is it held in the rain?
The venue is an indoor hall on the fourth floor of Grand Green Osaka South, so rain is not an issue. You can reach it from JR Osaka Station through the underground passage.
Is it suitable for children?
A digital stamp rally, an AI photo booth and hands-on workshops such as lantern painting make it easy to visit with children.
