Venue & access: Expo '70 Commemorative Park (Natural and Cultural Gardens / Japanese Garden) About 5 min on foot from Bampaku-kinen-koen Station (Osaka Monorail). Round-trip shuttle buses run from Umeda, Shin-Osaka, Namba, Tennoji, Sannomiya, Kyoto and more (5,300 yen advance, one drink included). There is no visitor parking — public transport is officially required.

Why You Should Visit

The Osaka edition of Summer Sonic, one of Japan's biggest urban music festivals. For its 25th anniversary, 2026 expands from the usual two days to three, August 14–16 at the Expo '70 Commemorative Park. L'Arc-en-Ciel, The Strokes and Ado top the AIR stage bills, with Jamiroquai, BABYMETAL, FKA twigs, David Byrne, LE SSERAFIM, Sakanaction and many more across five stage areas. During the festival, park entry is limited to ticket holders.

No — during the festival, entry to the park itself (Natural and Cultural Gardens / Japanese Garden) is limited to ticket holders, per the park's official notice.

What's the best way to get there?
