Price & booking
One-day ticket ¥17,000 incl. tax (standing / wheelchair). Everyone aged 3 and over needs a ticket; children 2 and under need one ticket per two children. General sale on Ticket Pia from Oct 10 at 10:00, first come, first served. Shuttle-bus and tour-bus tickets are sold separately.
Venue & access
Expo '70 Commemorative Park (the whole park is the venue) Walk from Banpaku-kinen-koen Station on the Osaka Monorail. Driving requires a parking ticket bought in advance; sales details have not been announced yet (the Central and Japanese Garden parking lots are closed on both days).

Why You Should Visit

KAMIGATA BOYZ, the Kansai-born artists of STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, take over the whole of Expo '70 Commemorative Park for a two-day outdoor festival. SUPER EIGHT, Naniwa Danshi, Aë! group and Kansai Junior perform, and beyond the stage areas there is a food area, a picnic-sheet area and a stamp rally around the park. Entry is by one-day ticket, and on both days the Natural Cultural Garden and Japanese Garden are open only to festival ticket holders. The show is outdoors and goes ahead in the rain.

  • Stage areas (including TAKOYAKI STAGE) are all standing; chairs are not allowed
  • Tickets issued at entry are checked at TAKOYAKI STAGE
  • Food and drinks are sold in the Food area
  • Picnic sheets may be used only in the Sheet area
  • A stamp rally runs around the park and the official app sends updates. BOYZ PARK is also planned (details TBA)
Stage-area rules
  • Only drinks may be brought in (salt candies/tablets are fine)
  • No strollers, parasols or umbrellas
  • Exit is staggered after the show
  • No leaving the park and re-entering
Impact on regular park visitors
  • Some sports facilities, including the general sports ground, baseball field and Expo '70 Stadium, are closed
  • Walking routes inside the park to the National Museum of Ethnology and the Japan Folk Crafts Museum, Osaka are restricted

Can I enter Expo '70 Commemorative Park without a festival ticket?
On Oct 31 and Nov 1, only festival ticket holders can enter the Natural Cultural Garden and Japanese Garden; Expo All Passports and multi-entry tickets are not accepted. The National Museum of Ethnology and the Japan Folk Crafts Museum, Osaka open as usual.
Do children need a ticket?
Yes, from age 3. Children 2 and under need one ticket per two children. Strollers cannot be used in the stage areas.
What happens if it rains?
It is an outdoor show held rain or shine. Umbrellas are not allowed in the stage areas, and raincoats are recommended. Severe weather may lead to a date change, venue change or cancellation.
Can I drive there?
A parking ticket must be bought in advance; sales details have not been announced. The Central and Japanese Garden parking lots are closed on both days.
