Why You Should Visit
SIDE B is a 90-minute gathering at an Osaka café where everyone switches off their phone and leaves it in their bag. For the first 45 minutes you read, write or simply sit quietly; in the second half you can chat with others or keep going on your own. There are no self-introductions or contact swaps, and it is designed for people who come alone. This session is at Cafe Kodama in Tamatsukuri, limited to 10 people. A good fit for anyone who wants an evening away from screens after work.
NOTE
From the organizer (SIDE B)
Program
"Ninety minutes away from notifications and screens, just for yourself. Bring a book you're halfway through or a notebook, or do nothing at all.
Please switch off your smartphone and keep it in your own bag. The first 45 minutes are quiet; conversation in the second half is optional. There are no forced self-introductions or contact swaps. Bringing books or notebooks is optional, and you can come alone."
Organizer's comment
"You can choose to talk, or to spend the time without talking. For anyone who wants to go at their own pace."
